I have seen a couple Lenovo recommendations in here so far. On the low end systems, they are not good. The expensive ones are fine and tend to be reliable, but the cheap ones tend to be just that, cheap. I fix them, so I see it all the time.

With your hardware failing like it is, I would second the idea to migrate this to a VM on a new computer. You can image your old drive to keep your old versions and have everything all set up the way you like it. If you have Windows 10 Pro on the new computer, you can use HyperV for the VM, or if ...
