Deva's Underpowered?
Didn't Tarrin get away from the Devas a little too easily? If they can maintain order among gods and Demons, why could one Were-Cat with a few magical gifts so effortlessly evade them? Can no one else mask/disguise their aura, or create duplicates? If any god can imbue a body with powers, why hasn't ...

Magically Spoiled?
Obviously Tarrin's faced plenty of challenges and difficulties, but, for once, couldn't he find a magical limitation not easily surmounted? I mean, he mastered Sorcery with little effort (the weaving process and knowledge of how to make the spells, not the process of becoming a Weavespinner), picked ...

Re: Kidnapping of Jasana
As I recall, he had already exhausted himself using magic and was about to pass out. Since Druidic magic takes a second to cast anyway, I doubt he would have risked Jasana by trying. The Marilith might have been able to tell he was casting a spell (Druidic magic is silent, but if the Sha'Kar could ...

Re: A Few More Annoying Questions
Thanks for replying, Fel.
1) That makes sense. I assumed the gods would protect it from their fellow deities, but if not, then that's a very clever way to do it. Just wondering: is there any reason the curse could affect only one person? Obviously it would be the one touching the Firestaff, but ...

A Few More Annoying Questions
1) If the gods were willing to place a curse on the Firestaff, why not set it so the person who took it was killed? The memory thing seems a bit tame, and it would seem more logical for it to kill the holder-if not everyone else within a few sqaure miles as well-to protect itself.

Re: questions about were-kin infection
After doing a quick search, I found you're quite correct: quite a few images and info on serpent-lamias, with my original idea present, but in the minority. Maybe it's a term used for any kind of animal/woman but with its roots in the snake? The naga issue might be a result of many books and gamers ...

Re: questions about were-kin infection
From Honor and Blood, chp. 35, "the woman-topped beasts are called Lamias. The snake-creatures are called Naga." So lamias are probably more like centaurs; in most mythology I've read, lamias have a woman's head and torso which merge with a lion's body, though their origin is of course unknown to me ...

Re: questions about were-kin infection
Thanks for the info! Once again, I'm impressed by the depth of history and logical explanations for everyday things in your world. On a slightly related note, where do other supernatural races come from, such as Faeries or Dryads?

Re: questions about were-kin infection
The popular opinion is that only humans can be infected because the first Were-cat was human, but I haven't seen any Fellish confirmation. As for the other Were-kin, the same rule probably applies, but I'd rather it be limited to humans. Just the image of a dragon with Were regeneration and enhanced ...

Re: Sorcery storage?
While I'm obviously not Fel, I would imagine such a device could be made, but its storage capacity would likely depend on the strength of the Sorcerer crafting it. One made by Tarrin could probably fuel an ordinary Sorcerer's weavings for a good few weeks, if not more.

Re: Sorcerous Potential
On a somewhat related note, are there any Wikuni, Selani, Sha'Kar, Vendari, or Aeradalla Druids? The power seems universal, but I only remember Fae-da'Nar and human Druids being mentioned.

Sorcerous Potential
If a human Sorcerer breeds with an Aeradalla, can the child inherit the gift of Sorcery? If so, could a Tower be built on Conduit that runs through the Cloud Spire? Likewise, is it possible for a Goblinoid to possess Sorcery, whether through some specific breeding or other means?

Magic Systems
One of the many interesting aspects of Fel's books is the interrelated and balanced magic system. As a would-be world-builder myself, I've developed several mojo-methods and am curious to see others. Anyone here work on that sort of thing? Descriptions, general ideas, quirks: everything's welcome.
