I really don't understand people who think organized religion fails due to the corruption of men.

Because wouldn't that apply to everything? Like government? Or say, society in general? Why do you only apply that idea to religion?

I didn't say it was a bad thing, I just said he did it.  I don't care one way or the other really.

Actually, he does it a bit more often than that, although I don't think he realizes he's doing it. I was rereading the series not too long ago, and I noticed it again.

An example off the top of my head would be the fact I'm pretty sure he explains which types of magic beat other types several times ...
